The Aston Martin Valkyrie (codenamed AM-RB 001 or Nebula) is a limited edition hybrid sports car developed jointly by Aston Martin, Red Bull Racing and several other companies. This extreme sports car is the closest production car in the world to an F1 car that is also suitable for road use. The car manufacturers claim that the Valkyrie claims to be the fastest street car in the world. When the legendary Adrian Newey, Red Bull Racing's Chief Technical Officer, is involved in the production of the car, such claims have to be taken seriously. The production of the extraordinary car is limited to 150 units, the price of one is 3 million. US dollars. Production of the track-only version of the AMR Pro is limited to 25 units, each priced at 3.5 million. US dollars. Of course, both versions are sold out during the car production process. Under the hood is an incredible 6.5 L naturally aspirated V12 engine that produces 1,000 hp. Meanwhile, the additional electric motor adds another 160 hp and 280 Nm of power at the touch of a button. This engine reaches its maximum power of 1160 hp (865 kW) at an incredible almost 10,500 rpm. Valkyrie is the highest revving production car in the world. All this allows from 0 to 100 km/h. Valkyrie accelerates in just 2.6 seconds. An even sharper version of the Valkyrie AMR Pro will boast even more power - 1300 hp. As this version is only for racing, its undamped exhaust system sounds fantastic, the car will reach a top speed of more than 400 km/h, and the racers will be able to experience as much as 3.3g of overload. The engine was developed together with Cosworth and Red Bull Racing using Formula 1 experience. In order to increase the reliability of the engine, most of its internal components such as camshafts, crankshaft, pistons, etc. are milled from a single piece of material. The result is a 6.5-liter engine that weighs just 206 kg! The exhaust exits at the top of the car next to the engine - similar to Formula 1 cars or the Porsche 918 Spyder supercar. The production model also features a Kinetic Energy Recovery System (KERS) similar to that used in Formula 1 cars. The aerodynamic elements were a special task for the Red Bull Racing Team. Looking at the Valkyrie's front fairing, you can see the most striking similarities to the Formula 1 car. The front suspension and bodywork is open and allows airflow through the car easily, pressing the car to the track and providing incredible stability. When driving fast, the aerodynamic elements generate a downforce of 1000 kg. Therefore, the car would be able to drive up the wheels because it weighs very similar.
