The Aston Martin Cygnet is a luxurious little one for affluent fans of the legendary Aston Martin brand. It's a small, agile, economical car - like no other in Aston Martin history. Speaking at a presentation of Cygnet in the Soho area of London, Ulrich Bez, CEO of the company, noted: “I am proud to present Cygnet in Soho, where people can have everything but space. This is exactly what this car is for - it is designed to drive on the streets of London, Paris or Rome. It’s time to think differently. We don’t want to reduce or slow down our fast and exceptional cars, but we understand that we, as a car manufacturer, need to care about the environment. That's why we offer our customers a small city car. " Why did Aston Martin need such a car? Simple: it will halve the brand's average CO2 emissions, which is important for the European market. The Cygnet emits 113 g / km of CO2 and the large Aston emits well over 300 g / km. The company expects to sell 1,500 units of this luxurious baby a year. The typical features of the Aston Martin brand are given to the work - large radiator grille and sporty finishing elements. In fact, Toyota iQ hubs are hidden under the Cygnet body lines. The interior exudes luxury - white leather and alcantara seats, quality and attention to detail. So far, only one Cygnet engine is offered - a 1.33-liter petrol with four-cylinder 97 hp. Although it is not Vantage or Rapide, it will not be slow - it will reach 100 km / h in 11.9 seconds. speed and a top speed of up to 170 km / h. Undoubtedly, it is the slowest Aston (for comparison - the next slowest Aston Martin model V8 Vantage accelerates to 100km / h in 4.8 seconds!), But also the most economical - it consumes only 4.7 L of fuel on average.
In fact, the Aston Martin Cygnet is a Toyota iQ car produced since 2008.

Average looks
Poor build quality, looks ugly, only has 1 gear, terrible reliability
So ugly for a car that has an automatic gearbox. 1-speed Auto? More like 2-speed CVT! The worst car ever on my opinion....
