The design of the Alfa Romeo MiTo is clearly influenced by the powerful Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione.

 

The name MiTo is an abbreviation of the names of the cities: Milan (Milan) and Turin (Turin). Because in the first the car was designed and in the second produced.

 

Alfa Romeo MiTo has won the following awards for its excellent design:

• The best foreign car in the small car category in 2010 and 2011 (magazine Auto, Motor und Sport);
• Best Car of 2010 in the Small Car Category (What Car? Magazine);
• Best car in the small car category in 2009 (Slovenian magazine Avto Magazin);
• The most beautiful car of 2008 (the portal Republica.it and the Polish magazines Motor and Auto Moto).
