Here we have a new, extremely exciting Lexus LC500. The question arises as to what the car is and for whom it is intended, especially when comparing it to the BMW i8 and its closest competitor, the Honda NSX. Lexus, when talking about the LC500, avoids calling it a sports car and does not name it as the successor to the supercar Lexus LF-A. True, the Lexus LC500 has sporty genes - the front-mounted engine is behind the front axle, the weight balance is 52/48 (front / rear), the rear-wheel drive, the body and units are made of carbon fiber, magnesium alloys and aluminum, the rear active spoiler, and the bodywork as claimed by the manufacturer is the most rigid of all it has had to produce to date. Underneath the hood is an atmospheric 5.0-liter V8 engine generating 467 hp. The most striking aspect of the Koger is the excellent design of the LC500 - the car lines are both muscular and elegant together. The front radiator grille, made up of hundreds of differently shaped diamonds, is simply a masterpiece you want to look at and watch. Perhaps only the silver rims of the tail lights, which look just cheap, are to blame. But it’s more a matter of taste here. Inside, both the quality and the design style are just perfect. There is little to add - you just need to admire the photos. The extravagant blue dashboard is strictly horizontal to visually expand the car (don't you remember the 1992 Honda Prelude dashboard?), The center console elegantly "assigns" all devices to the driver's prerogatives, the door design is simply "wow" - here we see four impressive lines that aim for one the only accented device is the extremely elegant door opening handle. Wonderful. Overall, it is difficult to assess the purpose of the Lexus LC500. This stylish car doesn’t introduce any ultra-smart new technology, yet the LC500 is designed to fill the gap that remained after the Lexus LF-A went down in history. Also, expect a sporty version of the LC500 F that will perhaps show what it does on asphalt with ridges on the sides.
