The Range Rover Sport is built on the same MLA-Flex platform as its closest relative, the company's largest model, the Land Rover Range Rover. Therefore, the new Land Rover Sport is suitable for both internal combustion engines, plug-in hybrids and fully electric models. This means that new Range Rovers are now available with efficient partial hybrid powertrains, as well as plug-in hybrid versions. A look at the exterior of the SUV shows that Land Rover has chosen an evolutionary path for its sportiest model. The only thing that catches the eye is the extremely smooth shape of the car's body and the hidden door handles that emphasize it. The all-electric Range Rover Sport is expected to appear in 2024, although there are already many electrified engines in the model range at launch: the 3.0 L six-cylinder D300 and D350 diesel versions, along with the P400 petrol, have 48-volt mild hybrid technology. The P440e and P510e PHEVs can travel up to 110 km on electric drive only. The 4.4L V8 petrol unit in the P530 runs without any hybrid assistance, but makes 523bhp and sounds great. Fans of more extreme driving will be happy to hear that their luxury SUV is equipped with Land Rover Terrain Response technology, a system that adapts the car's handling to any driving conditions. The steel partition at the front of the car creates a kind of double glass effect - noise and low-frequency vibrations caused by contact with the road surface are felt and heard by 24 percent in the car interior. less than in the previous generation model. The active noise reduction system captures wheel vibrations, tire and engine noise and emits a noise-reducing signal through the 35-speaker sound system. All this thanks to the 60 mm diameter speakers installed in the headrests, which allow you to create personal zones of silence for each Range Rover passenger. The curved, elegantly designed 13.1-inch screen fits perfectly into the interior of the cabin. In the new Range Rover, remote parking assistant takes convenience to a new level. It allows a large SUV to enter and exit a parking space while the driver watches the action from the vehicle. When the person with the car key approaches, the Range Rover doors unlock and the handles slide out automatically. After getting out of the car, the driver can simply walk away - the door handles will be retracted again and the car will be locked. Ultrasonic sensors installed in each door detect obstacles and determine how wide the door can be opened. Once inside, the car's driver's door can be closed by simply pressing the brake pedal. In addition, the doors can be controlled using a central touch screen or additional switches on the handles.
