Volvo, driving the XC90 with great success, didn’t wait long and introduced a new compact SUV. The well-designed car will undoubtedly be a success even though it will have to compete with an entire army of compact SUVs. The car has a truly exclusive, but at the same time typical Volvo design. The XC60 is equipped with petrol and diesel engines already in production. The SUV is built on the Volvo P24 platform and shares some technology with the Land Rover Freelander, so the car will not be "walking" and off-road. The most powerful engine is a 6-cylinder turbo with 285 hp (213 kW) and an all-wheel drive system from Haldex. The car has a comfortable, luxurious interior, great seats, 40/20/40 folding rear seats, and only time will tell about the shortcomings.
Not enough room for passengers, car turning circle too big.

Car description
Both it and sold it few months later. It wouldn't be too bad but fuel consumption in the city is bad. Around 25 mpg. No room at the back for adults, only for kids. Didn't like driving it. Steering too heavy, unresponsive. Steering column was leaking oil, event though mileage wasn't even 60 000 mls. Bad visibility through the rear window. Everything else looks like a quality built. Btw it has a very big turning circle. Next car I bought was 2011 Honda C-RV. No complaints, urban fuel consumption is over 35 mpg!
Performance
I've no complaints to the engine, maybe too powerful and drinks fuel!
Reliability, running costs
Didn't have to change anything over the month of ownership, so can't advice on anything. I'm just aware that parts aren't the cheapest.
Recommendations to buyers
I mentioned that wouldn't recommend to buy it but everyone buys for their own needs. This model didn't suit me. XC90 is a lot better, just the model is outdated. Before buying think with your own heads and not someonelses advices.
