The Seat Ibiza is a small car developed by the Volkswagen Group and produced on the PQ24 platform like the VW Typ 9N Polo model. The car has a sporty design created by Italian designer Walter de’Silva. This Ibiza is already the third model and is marketed as a sporty and youthful model (like most SEATs) sold at competitive prices (while the Skoda is marketed as just a cheap reliable car). The third-generation Seat Ibiza is identical to the Cordoba II model only with a hatchback body. The more aggressive design did not overshadow the practicality of the car - it is the largest Ibiza with enough space for five adults and a fairly spacious luggage compartment. The most powerful versions - the FR and Cupra TDI have 1.9-liter turbodiesel engines with 130 and 160 hp respectively. The latter engine is an improved unit of the VW Golf version with 150 hp and is one of the most powerful two-valve cylinders, up to 2 liters of diesel engines.
In 2003, WhatCar? Magazine Seat Ibiza was chosen as the car of the year. He was also voted Best Mini Class of the Year for three years in a row.

Well-manageable, quite high, easily maneuverable on heavily snow-covered roads. Maximum speed – 110 mph – surprises me :)
Electronics, problems with power steering, very poor quality of the interior material, poor sound isolation, no comfort

Car description
Hard plastic gives a rattling sound, the chassis is solid. There’s enough power for this engine thus no complaints about the traction. It’s important that the catalyst converter wouldn’t be cut out otherwise when the accelerator is hit a very unpleasant sound appears. Fuel consumption is rather high: in the city – 40 mpg, on the highway – 50 mpg. but it depends on your ability to drive economically. The interior is enough roomy only for two passengers to have a comfortable ride. In the back, there’s lack of space. Generally speaking it’s a real pleasure to drive such a car; the steering wheel is easily manageable – this car is real Speedy Gonzales :).
Reliability, running costs
If you have intentions to sell it, I can assure you that it won’t be easy because it holds its value. However you can easily buy plenty of GOLF IV for the same price, which, to my mind, is a lot more popular option than Seat Ibiza.
Recommendations to buyers
Pay attention to the dash warning lights, if they’re turned on. Make sure the power steering works fine because it is electric and its replacement is extremely expensive. One more disadvantage can be mentioned, i.e. electronics. Sometimes you can notice flashing lights which prevent the engine from operating smoothly.
