The Renault Modus is a mini minivan built on a Clio platform and uses many Clio engines. This platform is also used in Nissan Micra and Nissan Note cars. The latter has a very similar design to the Renault Modus. This mini minivan is smaller than the Renault Scenic, but is almost as practical and comfortable. The car has sliding rear seats, depending on who wants more space - people or luggage. In 2008, the Modus version, the Grand Modus, was introduced and extended, with a longer length of 4034 mm and a 410-liter luggage compartment. The Modus is the first car of its size to be rated full 5 EuroNCAP stars in occupant safety, thanks in part to the car’s installation of six airbags, front and rear side impact bars and ISOFIX child seat anchorage systems. It’s also one of the first cars in its class to have features like automatic headlights and automatic windshield wipers.
