Mitsubishi Pajero, 1999 - 2006
3.556Rating3.617% worse than average rating of competitors (4.4)Review number: 6 RecommendsYes 0% No 100%
The new Pajero has become completely new - lower, wider, with a lower center of gravity. As a result, the SUV stands more stably on the road and is better controlled. The car has become more than three hundred percent stiffer, the biggest change - the Pajero frame is close to passenger cars, while the previous one used a ladder-type frame. This provided more space for the suspension to travel. The car can distribute power between the front and rear axles in a ratio of 33/67 with the possibility to adjust the ratio to 50/50 depending on road conditions. The system is now fully electronic and named Super Select 4WD II (SS4-II). The new Pajero has become much more luxurious and claims a higher class dominated by Land Rover Discovery and the popular Toyota Land Cruiser.
