The Mitsubishi Outlander is a compact SUV produced with both a front-wheel drive system and an all-wheel drive system. The car uses a normal (“open”) differential for the front and rear axles and with a viscous center differential. A “hot” version with a weakened Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution engine 4G63T 2.0 L turbo with 240 hp (176 kW) and 343 Nm of torque was also produced. The Outlander offers a unique design that attracts many buyers, as well as a high-quality spacious interior, and the car has the characteristics of a passenger car. But don’t forget that Outlander’s competitors are very strong and experienced Toyota RAV4 and Honda CR-V.
