Mitsubishi Lancer Evo, 2001 - 2003
The new Evolution VII is being built on the new Lancer platform - it has gotten bigger, receiving significant chassis improvements. The biggest change was the active central differential, which distributes power between all four wheels. The torque increased slightly to 385 Nm thanks to several improvements related to better air supply, the power remained the same - 280 hp (206 kW). Despite the fact that the car looks very civilized, it manages to overtake many much more expensive sports cars. The Evolution VII was also produced for the first time with an automatic transmission.
