The Mitsubishi company, like all (almost), succumbs to the fashion of small all-terrain vehicles and introduces us to the Mitsubishi ASX. This car is built on an Outlander base, but is a bit smaller and shorter. The front ASX is a typical Mitsubishi with the company-specific aggressive grille and headlights, but all the other parts don’t impress with interesting lines or unexpected solutions. The inside also has a slender design, and the materials are cheap - it feels good to touch the plastic surface. However, the driver's position is comfortable and the devices are easy to understand. All ASX models have good standard equipment which includes an electronic stability control system. The practical and spacious 442-liter luggage compartment is a big plus, but it can't be extended with the rear seats completely removed (the Skoda Yeti can be removed). On the road, the Mitsubishi ASX is obedient, but lacks the sense of fun typical of competitors Skoda Yeti or Nissan Qashqai. True, the diesel 1.8-liter engine is extremely economical - its free speed reaches only 600rpm. This engine can also be equipped with all-wheel drive.
