The 2000 Tundra was a big pickup - it was the very first foreign pickup in the US market. He had to grapple with Ford, Dodge Ram and Chevy Silverado pickups. American SUV manufacturers had something to worry about: the new truck was sturdy, quiet, and had V8 power. Toyota has introduced a variety of engines ranging from the base 3.4-liter DOHC V6 to 190 hp. However, approximately 95% of buyers preferred one of the V8s with 245 horsepower. Feedback on the car was favorable - high-quality, smooth driving, among the shortcomings - poor economy.
