This Trafic is developed in conjunction with General Motors (GM) Opel, which is why an identical version of the Opel Vivaro is produced. A similar model of Nissan Primastar is also produced, as Nissan and Renault are close partners. The buyer is presented with various versions of Trafic - from a three-seater with a full rear-wheel drive for cargo, to a nine-seater passenger car. The car is manufactured with two lengths of body (L1 maneuverable in the city and L2 with 2.8 m of cargo space), two heights (H1 and H2), 5, 6, 7 or 8 m3 of useful volume and up to 1200 kg of cargo.
