It is true that it is a bit smaller than its predecessor, but this may even be an advantage in city conditions, especially compared to the fact that cars are getting bigger and bigger. The car looks really great - the light blue color with gold inserts in the bumper looks amazing. This Renault looks like no expense spared - 20-inch rims, albeit with narrow tires, pop-up handles, really nice both the front and rear, the lights are perfectly integrated and it just looks high-quality. The ground clearance itself is a bit higher - such that you are not afraid to drive off the asphalt, but at the same time, it is not so high that you feel like you are in a large SUV. After locking and unlocking the car, Renault will paint a nice logo for you on the ground - nice. By the way, the new logo looks great and fits well with the design of the car. I wonder if the old one would fit just as well? The trunk opens with the push of a button, but it only unlocks the lock, it does not rise by itself. The trunk itself is not very large, but it seems to be enough for most everyday needs. Inside, the car looks attractive, the quality leather-covered panel, central console, inserts in the door panels, the seats also look well sewn, there is night LED interior lighting. There isn't much to the design, as its core consists of two LCD screens. They are very comfortable to operate, they work smoothly, the climate control buttons are constantly displayed at the bottom of the right screen, and the physical most important climate control buttons are left below the screen. The buttons on the steering wheel are both convenient and easy to reach. It is true that glossy plastic is used in many places, some may not like it, but it goes well with the screens. The door design has brown inserts, which are made of simple plastic, although they could have been made of a more interesting material. In the center console, you can create your own compartments, which I think is very convenient, and there is also a wireless phone charging area. What is inconvenient are the armrest and glove box opening buttons. The rear view mirror is nice because it can activate the rear view camera which will constantly show the view behind you. The camera has some control settings. The car can have excellent equipment - heated seats, steering wheel, all security systems, sign reading, seat massages, seat back inflation, 360-degree video camera and the most interesting - autonomous driving system. Enabling autonomous driving turned out to be not very intuitive. I also didn't like the rear view camera when maneuvering backwards, because it transmits the image in a strong "wide" mode. This makes it difficult to judge distances and makes the camera almost useless when parking at short distances. The car can be controlled with one pedal - you can adjust the regenerative braking system according to your needs, i.e. how hard the car brakes when the accelerator is released. The most powerful version of the Renault Megane with 160 kW has excellent traction, it looks much better than the specified tech. in the data - up to 100 km/h in 7.4 seconds. On average, the car consumes about 20 kWh/100 km, it seems that you can drive about 250 km in spring conditions, which is not very much. However, this is the powerful version of the Megane. On the road, the car behaves perfectly - it stands very well on the road and I would say it is not stiff, even though the wheels are huge. It is quite a comfortable car and the heavy weight of the 1700 kg car is not felt at all. Overall, the car gives the impression of a quality and beautifully made car. Of course, you won't find super luxurious materials here, but the safety and comfort equipment can be offered really well.
