This minivisual class is one of the fastest growing in Europe. Nissan Juke, which once blew up the boom, now has a number of competitors - Opel Mokka, Chevrolet Trax, Peugeot 2008, Ford EcoSport, and now Renault's representative - Captur. This car is based on the Clio, and the two cars have a number of stylistic similarities. Yes, the Captur is a really attractive car, one of the most sympathetic in the class - the new design Renault's nose seems to be really suitable for small cars. The "corrugated" sides, plastic edging around the wheel arches and the sill and a roof of a different color contribute to the positive impression. It's no secret that this class is a completely poor off-road copier, but the Renault Captur will be one of the worst - regardless of engine configuration, this "SUV" is powered only by the front wheels. So it has absolutely no SUV features. Despite its compact dimensions, the Renault Captur features ample interior space. The panel is very similar in design to the related Clio model, the colorful interior is warm and relaxing. The interior can be adapted to personal needs by changing colors and decoration motifs. The car has a high and comfortable driver's seat, poor space for passengers and luggage - its dimensions are close to the Renault Scenic minivan. The smallest engine is a TCe petrol engine with a turbocharger with a displacement of just 900 cubic centimeters and a three-cylinder 90 hp. Slightly larger is the 1.2-liter, 120 hp four-cylinder petrol, and the range is completed by the coger’s most popular 1.5-liter 90 hp dCi diesel. On the road, Captur behaves more like a hatchback than a crossover. The suspension is adjusted for a soft reaction to road bumps, the steering is light and does not provide much information to the driver. Considering the car’s practicality, price, economical engines, design and excellent safety features, the Captur should become one of the leaders in the class.
