Peugeot 2008, 2019 - present
It seems Peugeot has finally grasped the vein of success, at least in the field of design, and is trying to make the most of it. So in a few years, many new Peugeot models have appeared, such as the 508, 5008, 208 and finally 2008. Three of these four cars are crossovers, and they are known to be the most important models in the model range of every non-prestigious car company. The newcomer features a design typical of all the new Peugeot listed - solid taillights, a new front style with three lines of LED bulbs in the headlights that clearly mimic the lion’s claw marks. Sculptural triangular planes are noticeable on the sides and rear of the car, somewhat reminiscent of those in the Audi Q2. Versions with a black roof can be ordered, which is becoming almost standard in all compact cars (I wonder why this fashion has only touched compact cars so far). Inside, the designers also lacked imagination - a futuristic multi-stage i-Cockpit instrument panel with a large screen in the center and now very fashionable horizontal buttons in the cockpit of an ancient airplane. Not only that, Peugeot used relatively high quality materials that are even better than the Volkswagen T-Roc or T-Cross models. And while the car won’t be overwhelmed by the quality of the assembly or comfort, it still makes you feel more unique compared to other cars in its class. The vehicle also features many new technologies, such as night driving, adaptive cruise control with stop / start function, lane departure warning, active braking system, obstacle warning, lane keeping assistance, adaptive lights, speed limit recognition, road sign recognition system and blind spot monitoring system. More importantly, this car is perfect for the city and has an electric version of the e-2008. This electric car has a 100kW electric motor and a 50kWh battery and can travel 193 miles.
