The new Opel Zafira Tourer has grown significantly compared to the previous generation - it is even 19 cm longer, 13 cm wider and 6 cm higher, so there is really enough space in it. The increased Zafira wheelbase and wheelbase have substantially increased ride comfort and stability. Therefore, the new model can be positioned as a larger monovolume not competing with the old generation Zafira. Still, the main change is visible on the outside of the car, where the boomerang-shaped headlight layout is very similar to the older Opel Ampera. These design solutions, as well as the curved line that characterizes the Opel range throughout, give the monovolume a dynamic and sporty look. At the rear, the horizontal chrome line with the Opel logo extends all the way to the taillights, giving the impression of solidity and completeness. The interior is dominated by the pure Opel style seen in the Insignia and Astra models. Sufficient quality materials are used here, and a panoramic roof can also be ordered. However, the biggest advantage of the monovolume is the interior space and the flexible Flex7 seat modification system. The entire third row can now be folded down to the bottom of the luggage compartment, while the second row consists of three separate and individually adjustable seats. In addition, the second-row center seat can be folded down and the side seats pushed, giving extra space for third-row passengers. The car behaves really commendably on the road - it has become more stable, more predictable and more comfortable. The front suspension was used by the designers from the Opel Insignia model, and the rear was designed analogously to the Astra model. At the start of production, the Opel Zafira Tourer is available with one of three 2.0-liter turbodiesel engines with 81 kW, 96 kW and 121 kW. The petrol range consists of two 1.4-liter engines with turbines of 88 kW or 103 kW.
