The Mitsubishi Space Wagon is a five-door minivan with five or seven seats. In North America, the Space Wagon was sold as a Dodge / Plymouth Colt Vista Wagon, and it was also sold under license as a Hyundai Santamo and Kia Carstar. The third and last generation car was introduced in 1997. on October 17, it became even bigger and heavier. This pattern is also known as the Chariot Grandis (derived from the French word "grandiose" which means "large"). The car was no longer built on a ladder-type frame like some SUVs. The INVECS-II four-speed semi-automatic transmission remained the only choice. Finally, in 2003, the Space Wagon was replaced by the new Mitsubishi Grandis.
