Mitsubishi Lancer Evo, 2003 - 2005
Already legendary Evolution, this time the VIII versions are an exceptional car, even among supercars. The standard version has the same 280 hp (206 kW) power, new Altezza-style taillights, Bilstein shock absorber, aluminum roof to reduce center of gravity and improve handling. The detailed upgrade also touched on a transmission that electronically calculates the current situation and controls the power delivered to all four wheels accordingly to increase traction on the road surface in corners. A system called ACD 5 + Super AYC 6 allows up to 50% of the power to be delivered to the front wheels. In the United Kingdom, special versions were produced, called the FQ300, FQ320, FQ340 and FQ400, depending on how much each car had horsepower, 305, 320, 340 and 400 hp respectively. There are rumors that the abbreviation 'FQ' means 'Fucking Quick', which in Lithuanian means about 'insanely fast'. A version of the FQ400 Ralliart that has an unimaginable 302.13 kW (405.2 hp) of power from a mere 2.0 L engine! 202.9 hp from a 1-liter displacement is the coger's highest-horsepower-liter engine ever produced in a production car. Weighing in at 1450 kg, it reaches 100km / h in 3.5 seconds, 0-100 miles per hour in 9.1 seconds, 1/4 mile in 12.1 seconds, and a top speed of 283km / h. The BBC's Top Gear showed how the FQ-400 did well behind the Lamborghini Murcielago supercar on the ring road, with the mysterious Stig beating the track in 24 minutes in 24.8 seconds and all 4.2 seconds faster than Murcielago in 1 minute 29 seconds. In a similar test of various supercars at Bedford Autodrome, the "modest" Evolution was able to beat competitors such as the Audi RS4 and Porsche Carrera 4S.
