The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter is a commercial van or minibus. Although the car is designed primarily for business, it is also used as a private large minivan. The car body is used in conjunction with Volkswagen models - Volkswagen LT and Volkswagen Crafter. There are several Sprinter body options to choose from: a passenger or cargo van, a station wagon, a flatbed truck and a frame car. The most important Sprinter competitors in Europe are the Ford Transit and Fiat Ducato models. The car can be adapted to a wide range of applications: there are nine variants of Sprinter cargo vans: compact, standard, long and extra long, which can be ordered with a standard, high and very high roof. The passenger versions of the Sprinter Kombi are available with roofs of three different lengths (3250-4325 mm) and two different heights. Sprinter passenger variants can accommodate 8-10 passengers, and commercial vans have a large cargo capacity of up to 17 m3.
