The Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class is a luxury sedan built on the base of the W211 E-Class model. This car has discovered a new market segment - it is a kind of four-door, four-seater coupe car, one of the first of its kind in the world. According to Mercedes-Benz, the CLS is designed to combine the “strong emotional charm” that a coupe car brings with the “comfort and practicality” that a sedan provides. The coupe-style body results in the rear seats not being very spacious and the engine range not as wide as the E-Class. The CLS is sometimes mistaken for the four-wheel-drive CL version, but in the true Mercedes model range, the CLS stands between the E-Class and S-Class models and competes in part with the BMW 6 Series, some with a Jaguar (XF sedan). The great success of this model has led to other manufacturers soon starting to offer their four-coupe - Porsche Panamera, Volkswagen Passat CC and others. German car tuning company Brabus produces modified versions of the CLS AMG with a 6.3 L twin-turbo V12 engine. This improved engine develops 720 hp (540 kW) and is called the Brabus Rocket. It is the fastest four-door car in the world according to the Guinness Book of World Records, reaching a maximum hard-to-grasp speed of 365 km / h, and can accelerate from 0-100 km / h in less than 4 seconds.
