The Mercedes-Benz C is a compact, prestigious car made with sedan and station wagon bodies. The first-generation C-Class was introduced in 1993 and replaced the Mercedes-Benz W201 (190) and immediately became the most popular Mercedes-Benz car thanks to the fact that it was the cheapest in the Mercedes range. The C-Class was the smallest model in the company until 1997, when the A-Class was introduced. The most powerful variants were the C 280 with a linear 6-cylinder engine with 193 hp (142 kW) and the C 230 Kompressor with a turbocharged engine with 193 hp (142 kW) / 5300 rpm. Mercedes-Benz is, as always, famous for its diesel engines, which is why the car has been extremely popular as a taxi car for its diesel economy and excellent reliability. The C-Class models are also known for their refined interior, conservative design, excellent ride quality, comfort and innovative technology.
This generation C-Class was the cheapest (until 1997 when the A-Class Mercedes appeared) and the most popular in the Mercedes range.

The most powerful version of the AMG had a 4.3 L V8 engine with 306 hp (225 kW) at 5850 rpm and 410 Nm of torque at 3250 rpm. The car speeds from 0 to 100 km / h in 5.8 seconds.
