The Maserati Quattroporte has become an all-round better car and now targets the very king of this class, the S-Class Mercedes-Benz. Maserati's flagship "armed" Ferrari engines have become lighter, bigger and more dynamic, making it a truly worthy car for the rich. The Quattroporte is similar to the smaller Ghibli model introduced earlier - both linked by a new style aggressive front end, wavy lines running through the sides of the body and a slightly more conservative rear end with elegant headlights. Both models feature boldly expressed rear wheel arches, but the Ghibli is a bit more aggressive in style, while the Quattroporte is more elegant. Big and positive changes await buyers in the interior - the new modern panel is not overloaded with buttons, and the materials used are, of course, only of the highest quality. The most powerful 3.8-liter V8 engine sets new standards in the class of large sedans - 100 km / h. the car develops in just 4.7 seconds and reaches a maximum of 307 km / h. speed. At all 20 km / h. more than its predecessor. The dynamics of the smaller 3.0-liter V6 engine with two turbines is almost unmatched by the larger one, only the maximum speed is slightly lower - 285 km / h. On the road, the car behaves impeccably - it seems to drive a half-ton lighter car. The steering is responsive and follows the driver's instructions precisely, and the suspension follows the given trajectory perfectly. Other benefits are also important: the luggage compartment of the Quattroporte now reaches all 530 liters - even 80 liters more than its predecessor. The rear seats can now be folded down to accommodate long loads. As the car's already large wheelbase has been extended by 107 mm, the rear passengers have plenty of legroom. In a word, Maserati’s flagship got rid of the former minor flaws and became an exemplary representative of the premium segment.
