Just look at this car - it looks like the Lexus GS is arrogantly demanding attention and shouting “look at me”. So, let’s listen to this car and take a closer look at it - the expressive front design is adorned with sharp uncompromising lines. Don’t let go of the idea that GS is going to take over the baton from the E60 5 Series BMW, which has been replaced by a much more moderate design F10 and become the “most muscular” guy in its class. On the other hand, when you look at it, you can see the well-known Lexus-style lines - gentle, somewhat unexpected and subtly changing direction. Charming. Inside, the same awesome line play is complemented by great quality materials. The superb leather seats are not only beautiful but also comfortable, boasting a huge 12.3-inch LCD screen (the largest in this segment), a luxury mechanical watch and Mark Levinson audio equipment. All the essentials for driving and related devices, knobs and buttons are within easy reach. When you sit behind the wheel, you don't want this interior to become your second home. The new model has become larger as usual - the width has been increased by 20 mm and the height by 15 mm. The boot has also increased to 530 l (23% more than in the previous GS). Slightly smaller is the trunk of the hybrid 450h model. The new generation GS makes its debut with two engines and transmissions - the GS 450h and the all-wheel drive GS 350 AWD. The excellent hybrid 450h engine has 343 hp, 345 Nm of torque and is able to catapult a heavy car from 0 to 100 km / h. in 5.9 sec. Maximum speeds are limited to 250 km / h and fuel consumption is surprising, with Lexus claiming just 6.3 l / 100 km. On the road, the GS now offers not only excellent comfort, but also much better cornering stability and traction, though not as good as the BMW 5 Series. And yet, the GS is great and incomparably better than its predecessor, so watch out for the competitors!
