It is not for nothing that the Range Rover Velar model was named as the most coveted SUV on the market before it went on sale. The stunningly designed car perfectly combines the classic style of the Land Rover with a new, futuristic-looking body. More importantly, this car fills the gap between the range of many, which is too small for the Range Rover Evoque and the large range for the Range Rover Sport. The Velar SUV is just the size that is acceptable to many buyers. This car competes with a wide range of competitors ranging from the luxury Porsche Macan, Jaguar F-Pace and ending with the Volvo XC60. In addition, thanks to its sporty design, Velar is entering the field of sporty SUVs, making it a full-fledged competitor to the previously successful BMW X6 and Mercedes GLE Coupe. Yes, the Velar is the most stylish of all the Range Rover, it’s a car focused on style, not function. The ultra-sloping roofline, sleek front end, long rear overhang, small side windows and pop-up door handles all make the Velar stand out from other Range Rover cars. Another highlight of the Range Rover Velar is its interior. It showcases the upcoming Range Rover car interior style with three LCD screens and a minimalist style. Since the introduction of the fourth-generation Range Rover in 2012, all Range Rover models have had high-quality and tastefully designed interiors, but the Velar takes the cartel to a new level. Velar features the latest Jaguar-Land Rover information systems. There are no physical buttons on the screens in the center console except for the two rotary controls. This gives the interior a “Scandinavian” minimalism emphasizing the simplicity and perfection of the forms. Although the space on the rear seats is small, the luggage compartment is great. Its shape is good, the rear seats can be folded to create a flat surface. The luggage compartment, almost 120 cm wide and almost a meter deep, is surprisingly practical. Its volume is 673 liters, and with the seats lowered all 1,731 liters. In terms of trunk size, the Velar is somewhere between the Audi Q5 and the Audi Q7. The engine range consists of 237 hp 2.0 liter and 296 hp 3.0 liter V6 diesel engines. Gasoline power starts at 247 hp in a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and reaches all 375 hp in a six-cylinder 3.0-liter engine.
