Kia Sportage, 2021 - present
Introducing the new Kia logo earlier this year and a new design philosophy called Oposites United are bearing fruit - the company is introducing an impressive Kia Sportage design. The new Sportage symbolizes Kia's brand design message of constant movement and dynamism. This is not surprising, as perhaps the company’s flagship model is being delivered surprisingly quickly. The highly successful and well-designed predecessor was produced in just six years, and the sporting sportage, which was also very successful before, was also produced in just six years. Typically, companies leave successful models to produce for at least eight, and sometimes ten, years. It shows how dynamic Kia is. The ambition to continually improve and the desire to spend time have largely led to the exceptional success of the Sportage over the past decade. The challenging-looking front of the new Sportage makes a strong impression: it is dominated by a meticulously detailed black grille reminiscent of a grille. The wide radiator grille with framed boomerang-shaped LED lights combines the tiger nose shape typical of Kia models, which is no longer as strongly emphasized as in previous Kia cars. The wide rear end of the new Sportage looks no less interesting - the precisely integrated headlights seem an integral part of it. The sturdy headlight strap is also a trunk lid strap - similar to the highly efficient Kia EV6 electric car, only this one is much more modest. The narrow strip connecting the sharply shaped taillights also visually widens the body of the new Sportage. The modern-looking Sportage interior features a convex LCD screen, elegant, narrow touch-sensitive device controls and external airflow. Due to the horizontally arranged and extended equipment, the interior space of the SUV looks wider than it actually is. The new Sportage is the company's first model to be offered with a short or long base body. The aim is for the next-generation urban SUV to meet the different needs of customers in different markets around the world.
