The Ford S-Max focuses more on the sporty buyer, while the Galaxy focuses on practicality. The new Ford S-Max has 5 + 2 seats and a distinctive style, while the Focus ST 5-cylinder Duratec turbo engine with 220 hp testifies to its sporty character. The car feels Ford's Kinetic Design style - trapezoidal front grille, large wheel arches, side air vents. It’s a really great design car that looks dynamically like a big coupe. The Ford S-Max not only looks very solid, but also has surprisingly high-quality interior materials, making it an uncharacteristic Ford luxury everywhere. One of the main pluses of the Galaxy and S-Max is the FoldFlatSystem system, which allows the second and third row seats to be folded to the floor and get a smooth floor surface. As proof of the S-Max's complete perfection, the car was chosen European Car of the Year 2007.
