The new Ford Mustang is inspired by the 1960s Mustangs, especially the 1967-68 models. This unique retro and futuristic-style coupe and convertible reinforces its image as a muscle car. It is a very favorite and popular car with both a beautiful exterior and a comfortable interior. Ford seems to have done a good job of creating the new Mustang, not forgetting a more comfortable, quieter ride, but the Mustang has been criticized for its primitive rear suspension. It is worth mentioning the most powerful version of the limited series Mustang - the Mustang Shelby GT500KR under the hood with a 5.4 L DOHC V8 turbo engine with 540 hp (403 kW) at 6250 rpm and 691 Nm of torque at 4500 rpm.
The most powerful version of the limited series Mustang is the Shelby GT500KR (KR stands for King of the Road) with a 5.4 L DOHC V8 turbo engine with 540 hp (403 kW) at 6250 rpm and 691 Nm of torque under the hood torque at 4500 rpm.

Mustangs are also used as racing cars in the SCCA World Challenge GTS, Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge, Rolex Sports Car, Trans Am, FIA GT3 and GT4 series races.

Such a Mustang was driven by Shaquille O'Neal and Hollywood actor Sean Penn:
