The Ferrari 360 Modena has a center-mounted engine and two seats. The car replaced the Ferrari F355 model and was later replaced by a fairly similar Ferrari F430. The name Modena means the birthplace of Ferrari founder Enzo Ferrari. The 360 model has a brand new aluminum chassis that is 40% stiffer than the 355, while being 28% lighter despite a 10% increase in dimensions. Along with the new frame, the car also got a new body designed by Pininfarina, which no longer has sharp corners, and retractable headlights have been abandoned. The new V8 engine is only slightly larger and more powerful than the 355 model, now 3.6 liters with 300 kW (400 hp), but thanks to a lighter frame, the car’s acceleration has improved from 4.6 to 100 km / h in 4.6 to 4.4 seconds. A convertible version of the Spider was also produced, and a more aggressive version called the Challenge Stradale. This version is designed for more racing tracks than the streets: the car has a small 25 hp (19 kW) more powerful engine, but due to the reduced weight, the Challenge Stradale accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.1 seconds. In total, this variant is 110 kg lighter than a standard Modena. A CD player, leather interior, mats, lighter bumpers, carbon fiber mirrors, light seats, etc. have been abandoned. However, according to experts, the 360 Modena is prone to revolutions.
The name Modena means the birthplace of Ferrari founder Enzo Ferrari.

The Ferrari 360 Barchetta version was a gift from Ferrari to the company’s president, Luca di Montezemolo.

It was this model that was used as the base car for Ferrari's own series of races called the Ferrari Challenge.

Such a Ferrari was driven by actor Arnold Schwarzenegger.
